For this Salessswiss.com review I decided to order a watch from their fake Panerai collection. The model in question is a Panerai Arktos replica and for those that aren't so familiar with this specific timepiece, it is a member of the Luminor line, but it has an even bulkier design, if you can imagine that. Think of this as the survival man's Luminor.

Quality: Are These Watches Any Good?

Fake Panerai Arktos GMT Black Rubber Strap

As a whole, I'm not very thrilled with this fake Panerai.
After about two weeks of wearing it, the rubber strap looks like this. It may have been chipped, cracked, who knows… This shouldn't happen to watch strap so fast, no matter if the watch is a replica or a genuine model.
Besides this strap issue, I must admit that this Panerai Arktos replica doesn't look that bad. It has some imperfections here and there, but overall, it's not bad.
Powered by an automatic movement, it keeps time pretty well, although the power reserve is low (about a day and a half).
All in all, I can't say it's a bad replica, but I can't say it's a great one , either.

The Site: Usability and Design

The homepage is very crowded and an annoying live chat banners follows you everywhere.
Their fake Panerai collection can be found in the left side of the screen, amongst their other available brands.
About the pictures… Some are stolen of Gemnation, some look to be taken of their actual stock. Don't rely on these when making a purchase.

Service: Is Their Staff Any Good?

You can get in touch with these guys through email or through their live chat feature. Unfortunately, the latter isn't always working.
I can't say that their customer support is the best, but not the worst, either. The problem with them is that they are not very knowledgeable about their merchandise, telling them the name of the watch isn't enough, they insist on you sending the links. Also, technical details are out of the question.

Shipping: Is It Fast and Reliable?

Shipping's expensive and slow. I paid $25 and received this Panerai Arktos replica in 18 days or so.

Return Policy: Is It Reasonable?

Shady is the word for it. On the website, not much is stated, except you get 5 days to inform them about whatever issue you may have (although “very improbable”) and you can exchange. Or refund? Nothing makes sense, really…
As soon as the strap fell apart, I told them about it via live chat, sent an email with pictures, but they insisted it happened due to my negligence or that I willingly cut it.
Whatever, I decided to keep the watch and added an awesome brown suede leather strap to it.
Reasonable return policy? I think not!

The Bottom Line

To sum up this Salessswiss.com review, I can tell you that this certainly isn't the best place to order a fake Panerai and their assortment isn't by far the best Panerai replica selection either. Combined with an awful or better said, inexistent return policy, in my books, they are to be avoided.
